Day 23 /Class

Another VERY EARLY class day. This rugby shirt is from Ragtime; it is by Gant Rugger, which has come into a lot of exposure lately. I wore this to work, and to a Wiz Khalifa concert that night.

Day 22/ Class

For the next two days, Ill be in an Energy Management Diploma Training course. For these days, I will be staying a lot more casual.The sweat shirt with the chambray shirt is my attempt to channel some part of Steve Mcqueen's incredible laid back style.

Day 21/ Classic American

Peak lapels. Double Breasted. Cashmere. These are the three things I love about this glenn plaid sport coat. I would have loved to have had this as a whole suit, but the trousers were never produced.  The grey is perfectlty muted, I think. I am trying to evoke a classic american appearance. Yesterday I replaced my old frames. They had lasted me a decade. I hope these ray bans will, too.

Weekend tackle football and the dog/ local stores.

These are the perfect sweat pants. Great collegiate detailing, warm, and they came from Ox and Rabbit, one of my favorite local clothing stores.My matte black von zippers are from there. The classic rugby shirt is by Gant Rugger, except I bought it at another one of my favorite local stores: Ragtime.They are a great resource for vintage quality clothing, and the are always current on men and womens fashion. The black watch scarf is from there, as well.  This was alumni weekend for my fraternity, Sigma Nu. As such we play tackle football. Before the game, I spent some time in the backyard with Ava, the poodle, playing fetch. Wearing this was perfect for both. Warm, practical and yet still pulled together; tucking the pants into my socks cut down on air flow. The tommy tailgaters were a big inspiration.

Day 20

Snow last night; I saw it on the peaks of the mountains heading south, today. Cashmere and the British Millerain co., will keep me warm. Kerouac, and Mcqueen were big inspirations today.

Day 19/ Traddy Warbucks and the Khaki monster.

Another day for duck boots. And a trench! I received my recent purchase from gilt, yesterday. Unfortunately, my wingtips from billy reid are too long.

Day 18/ Bow ties and Grey Scale.

I dedicate this day to a fine, long Southern style tradition: Bow ties. We have always worn bow ties; they have never waxed or waned in the Southern style world. In the South, we are blessed with the ability to wear certain items like no others (just a few eg. bow ties, seer sucker, white bucks).
